8 – Instant Progress

This method (of setting short-term and very specific goals) may work for me. I experienced instant motivation to get things done.

Yesterday I went jogging. That’s 1/6 of the way towards Goal 1. I uploaded two poems (including one which I’ve felt somewhat dubious about, but readers’ comments were quite positive. Goal 2 is accomplished.

I did flashcards with Little Girl (that’s 20% of Goal 3 achieved). Moved $10,000 to Finatiq today, which is the maximum permissible in a day. I had a to-do list for yesterday and I have one for today.

At home I read my new Enneagram book and I think that I will move straight to the Level 3 development idea. Essentially, my personality type has the deep, ingrained fear that I may run short of resources (time, energy, knowledge etc) to deal with the challenges of life. So what I’ll do is monitor myself and rationally tackle that issue emanating from deep down in my head.
